Our founders and leadership team are industry-recognized and bring a unique combination of experience in Customer Service technologies, CRM, social media innovation, and predictive analytics.

Michael Betzer – CEO/Chairman

MCI, Siebel, Oracle, Ineto, Convergys
An experienced executive in Contact Center and CRM, Mike drives the overall corporate and product strategy for Social Dynamx as CEO. Mike worked for MCI for 14 years leading contact centers and technology. After starting Ineto Services in 1999, a SaaS contact center infrastructure company, he built the company to profitability over 5 years and sold it to Siebel in 2004. Mike then led the new Siebel OnDemand division, becoming the lead for CRM strategy at Oracle after Siebel was acquired in 2006. In 2008 he was recruited by Convergys as a President and Officer to create a new technology division and to review and lead key acquisitions, including Intervoice in 2008 which was acquired and integrated into Convergys's technologies, including cloud based solutions, self-service, decisioning and speech recognition.

Jan Ryan - Pres/COO

IBM, Lotus, Vignette, ROME, Sigma Dynamics
A proven software executive and entrepreneur, Jan has a successful track record of leading companies through early stages of growth to market leadership. In her role as President and COO at Social Dynamx, Jan is responsible for overall go-to-market strategy and execution, and scaling all customer-facing functions in the company, including Sales, Marketing, Services, as well as building strategic business relationships to enable our customers' success. With 28 years in enterprise software, predictive analytics, and internet technologies, Jan has played key roles in both public and privately held companies, including founding VP Sales at Vignette, an early internet innovator with a highly successful IPO in 1999. Jan was CEO of Sigma Dynamics, Real-time decisioning and analytics software, acquired by Oracle in Fall of ’06, and has worked extensively with startups in advisory roles for early execution strategies.

Dave Evans - VP, Social Strategy

As VP Social Strategy for Social Dynamx, Dave brings his vast experience in social innovation to connect our customers’ requirements to the product roadmap. As an industry recognized social media strategist and practitioner, Dave has worked in social business consulting and development for over four years. Most recently he worked internationally with India’s 2020Social and its clients, including Bengaluru International Airport, Intel, Dell, Pepsico and United Spirits, with Philips Consumer Business Unit (Amsterdam). Before that Dave held leadership roles at Austin’s GSD&M (now Idea City) and worked with clients such as Southwest Airlines, AARP, Wal-Mart, and the PGA TOUR. Dave is a frequent keynote speaker and in-demand social strategist in Fortune 1000 companies as well as early ventures. He is the best-selling author of "Social Media Marketing: An Hour a Day,” and his second book “Social Media Marketing: The Next Generation of Business Engagement."

Dewey Gaedcke - Chief Architect

As software development leader and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience managing teams in both online and enterprise systems, Dewey oversees product development and delivery at Social Dynamx as our Chief Architect. An early innovator in social technologies, Dewey has built and sold two companies, with products still in use today at Interwoven and Answers.com. Experienced in the design of massively scalable software architecture, Dewey is known for using technology to bring context and meaning to social interactions to automate business processes. Dewey envisions a world where service and support makes the "built-to-order" jump that occurred decades ago in manufacturing.   Stated another way, he believes that unique personality styles should be met and served by companies in personally-tailored ways that deepen the brand relationship.
